PACE Society is a harm reduction sex workers’ rights organization run by, with, and for sex workers providing support, advocacy, and education. We are a peer-driven space for sex workers of all genders.

Basic accessibility information: The drop-in space is street level, has no stairs, and flat floors. The front door is not automatic. There is a small single stall gender neutral washroom that cannot accommodate most mobility devices. There is mixed lighting in the space including fluorescent lighting. We have two cats that live in our office and receive donations for our members from LUSH. This space may not be suitable for folks sensitive to scents or with certain allergies. Please contact us if you have any further questions or requests regarding the accessibility of the space/event.

We respectfully acknowledge that this event is taking place on the stolen lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the shared territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) First Nations.

Organized by

Living in Community (LIC) is an innovative community initiative that works to find solutions to the impact of sex work and youth sexual exploitation on communities and to reduce the harms and isolation that sex workers experience.

LIC recognizes that systemic change only happens when groups work collaboratively – little is achieved when people work in opposition to one another. That’s why our work is directed by a diverse group of representatives such as: residents, neighbourhood houses, business associations, law enforcement, government, health, non-profit organizations and sex workers.
